well if we're going to go down the path of belittling then ;)

Sorry if I asked three questions all at once, it must have been overwhelming :(

Here, I'll try again, this time with only ONE question :thumbup

why do YOU like to have guns ?

I'm late to the party. Growing awareness of the seriousness of our situation.

Glad you showed up. Better late than never. Don't mind the men in the black balaclavas, they're private contractors here to help. Please give them any personal identification you may have and tell them your political affiliaton, they will help you to get into the correct line.

;)

I like having guns for 1 ) sustenance hunting and 2) personal protection

being in a public place I'm not permitted, as a citizen, to have a firearm upon my person and being presented with armed personnel from a federal agency known to abuse it's privileges and powers is disturbing, especially when they are making demands they are not legally entitled to make. without notice, without warning, without even the knowledge of local duly appointed law enforcement, they simply appear in a show of force, dare I say it, TERRORIZING the people who had come to do lawful business.

this doesn't make you sit back and wonder whether or not we're headed for another revolution?

Don't care. Just wish they would fix the obvious glare points before wasting time and money like this.

Boot illegals. Put corrupt CEO's in jail. Etc, etc.

got it, having a gun gives you a means of putting food on the table, and lets you control your perimeter.

Name me ONE "agency" (or collection of humans) that DOESN'T "abuse it's privelege and power" !!! That's to be expected, when people become preoccupied with control.

I hope we do have a revolution, one where people who are preoccupied with control are pushed aside by those who understand the paradox that freedom carries responsibilities.

BOTH parties are for big government. The Republicans never have, do not, and never will advocate smaller government.

The only difference between the parties is what they want that government to DO: Suckle the lazy, or suckle the powerful.

Which party is in power makes basically ZERO difference as to what the government does. Every president breaks his promises: Obama has done very Bush-like stuff because at least 80% of the decisions a president has to face every day don't give a shit what party he belongs to, and usually have only one reasonable solution. Less than 5% or something like that of the people in government are political. The rest are salaried worker bees like everyone else.

What's going on here is that the bureaucracy is expanding to meet the needs of the expanding bureaucracy. It's a virus: an insensate creeping slime that slowly devours everything it oozes over. It's like the Borg in Star Trek. Neither good nor evil, it simply is, and its sole directive is to expand.

His opening statement is largely untrue. Prior to the 1980's, the GOP had a long history of members who were strongly against growing Federal Government and often fought against it. The powerful general change in policy of the Reaganomics era is WHY die hard true conservatives like Barry Goldwater walked away from the party during that era.

I mean, Thomas Jefferson Founded the Republican party with James Madison for fucks sake. :facepalm

1). What kind of subsistance do you hunt in the bay area?

Do you really know how to unzip and dress out a deer, pig, cow, or a horse?Perhaps you do - I don't know. Let's hear the gret hunting stories!

A lot of what you say is true.

Psst! She lives in Rural Virgina. And yes, she does.

Errr, no, not exactly, at least not in today's term. The party Jefferson founded was the Democractic - Republican party, which evolved primarily into the Democratic party. What we know as the Republican party today didn't really form until the 1850s. Interestingly in opposition to the expansion of slavery Northward.

thanks for covering that for me Drew love :)

and Matt, I don't hunt cows and horses. I don't know anyone who does. :laughing ducks, geese, turkey, deer, rabbit....yeah, thats a little more sporting. and yes, I process my own.

Hunt = slaughter.

We send the horses to Canada currently, but that's changing we will start processing horse meat again pretty soon.

Cows - hmmm, McDonalds handles quite a bit of beef. My relative in Montana shoot and slaughter them fairly frequently.

So you would be the exception except that your in Virginia? Good grief..that explains a lot. :laughing

Hunt = slaughter. ..........................

Are you like Humpty Dumpty ?

“When I use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, “it means just what I choose it to mean—neither more nor less.”

Have you had a personal dictionary published, or does it only exist in your mind ?
