Another PSA: I got the Pfizer booster last week, and re-requested the QR code. Sure enough, all 3 shots are listed now.

I’m getting the Pfizer booster soon. Did you have any reaction?

So I saved a screenshot of my digital ID to my photos on my iPhone but I’d like to save it to the main screen with all the other icons for Google Maps, Pandora, etc for easy access. I want it to look like the other icons.
How do I do that?

Update for iPhone users: Once you upgrade to iOS 15, you can use your phone camera to scan your QR code; then, your vaccine record will be added to the Wallet app. (This will also add it to the Health app.) You'll need to print it out the QR code first, though, or send it to a friend so you can scan your code on their phone.

This may raise privacy concerns, so this is strictly AYOR, but it might come in handy in case you find it inconvenient to locate a physical card or a photo thereof.

I understand that we live in a free country and you are wll free to do what you please and download any app you wish To DL…. But I suggest you take a minute and think about what you are really doing out of sheer convenience, while in the end, absolutely nothing good will come of it. These vaccine passports have nothing to do with our health and safety. Its about seeking control over the population. Don’t want to believe it? Take a closer look at how the Chinese people live their lives on a daily basis, under a 100% authoritarian communist regime. They have no rights to travel at will, no privacy, no freedom of speech, etc. the government has complete control over where you can go and when you are allowed to. They see every transaction of everything people buy, etc. this is all done via smart phone app with facial recognition.

In America, it has never been normal tell anyone your private health information. Now people are not only giving it out at free will, but some are putting other people’s private information on display at full disclosure. All for what exactly??? To protect the population from a deadly virus? Well since the vaccines are proven not to prevent anyone from spreading the virus or getting the virus, how could anyone require such a thing. People should be allowed to decide for themselves what goes into their own body and what doesnt. If you are afraid of catching covid, then stay at home. Period.

And one last note to consider: Openly revealing medical status promotes segregation & gives up freedoms patriots fought & died for. Why would you want to give those freedoms away? Giving into having to use an app to be able To go somewhere means that you’re already given up your right to mobility. And you think that by downloading an App onto your phone is going to let you get that right back???? Think again.

I traveled to Europe last fall, spending a few weeks in the UK with family and then visiting friends for a week in France. There were stringent testing requirements in place to enter each country, and France required people to obtain a Pass Sanitaire and show it at restaurants and bars. If you didn't have it you'd be turned away.

Never once did I feel like it was inappropriate or like I was being surveilled. I thought it was great, actually, having some level of confidence that the people around me were vaccinated. This was before omicron, btw, when the vaccine was proving quite effective at preventing COVID.

As for those who claim the vaccine doesn't work against omicron, that's simply untrue. Again. Look at the mortality rates for vaccinated vs unvaccinated people who contract COVID. The vaccine is still very effective at preventing death, even if it's not stopping people from getting COVID.

I wish all the denialists and conspiracy theorists would at least start their arguments with a complete set of facts based on what is known so far, and then start making their case for why they think we're going down the wrong track. And citing fringey doctors who happen to hold a unsupported contrary view doesn't count as fact-based.

To go to school in CA. The following are REQUIRED.
• Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis (DTaP, DTP, Tdap, or Td) — 5 doses
(4 doses OK if one was given on or after 4th birthday.
3 doses OK if one was given on or after 7th birthday.)
For 7th-12th graders, at least 1 dose of pertussis-containing vaccine is required on or after 7th birthday.
• Polio (OPV or IPV) — 4 doses
(3 doses OK if one was given on or after 4th birthday)
• Hepatitis B — 3 doses
(Not required for 7th grade entry)
• Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) — 2 doses
(Both given on or after 1st birthday)
• Varicella (Chickenpox) — 2 doses
These immunization requirements apply to new admissions and transfers for all grades,
including transitional kindergarten.

7th Grade
• Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Tdap) —1 dose
(Whooping cough booster usually given at 11 years and up)
• Varicella (Chickenpox) — 2 doses
(Usually given at ages 12 months and 4-6 years)
In addition, the TK/K-12 immunization requirements apply to 7th graders who:
• previously had a valid personal beliefs exemption filed before 2016 upon entry between
TK/Kindergarten and 6th grade
• are new admissions

And let's not forget Tuberculosis. You can be arrested if you do not take your meds.

For some reason, only Covid matters to certain people. JUST TAKE THE SHOT. If you don't want the shot, remember to stay home and don't go to that hospital where they believe in science. My son-in-law set in a chair in the hall of a Texas hospital with Pancrities because all the rooms were taken by anti-vaxers with Covid. I have no patience or sympathy for people not getting the vaccine and spreading BS.

I said it before, I don’t use apps of this nature. The privacy kook in me wants to limit risk. This is probably near 0 risk but it’s also not a requirement.

I keep a photo of my card. I had 1 place refuse to accept a photo of it.
