Placeholder mostly. I thought I would put links to trail conditions threads.

Have fun, Butch! :ride

I put this down as a Butch Einstein post.

He is smart as F, he is about to go do something he loves and a random brainwave said post. :laughing

:love

I dunno is the space saver post.

Hollister was pretty good, actual, for summer conditions. I may have started a trail conditions thread. Gotta find it. Time waits for no one.
Trail conditons are decent and muchmaintenence has been done. Fenceline is still closed, but we rode all the rest of the Renz. Add rain and it will be really good. Tuesday?

Shoulda raced the HHORA Hare Ball on Saturday the conditions were great. There were a buncha electric bikes too Ultra Bee, Talaria Sting, Admit Jet Armor, and a Varg

Sunday at Hollister was pretty good. Much of the washboards are removed, and the Adobe side seems largely repaired. Add water and things will be as good as the get for the traffic that place has to endure. I only rode Pete's Jays and the Renz. A little of Adobe. Maybe more next week.

Just got back from 5 days at Penny Pines .
Trails were in good shape and only had to clear a few trees after the rain on Sunday.
Some snow could be seen on adjacent hill tops but only some frost and icy puddles for us.
The road to the top has become a real shit-show for dragging the trailer up. I mean, it was never great but just continues to deteriorate.
Met a few from the BA up there but not on BARF.
Penny Pines is always a good time for us.:)

I am heading to Metcalf to meet Prymnumber at 11. Apparently there is NO ONE there right now and conditions are very good...

White Pines / Intervale was perfect Saturday. Rode up there from Murphys and dirt was wet not slimey. Done snow at higher elevations up by Dorrington. Roads were icy in spots no bueno in the am 31 degrees at that little bank sign in Arnold

Any MCMA members here?

Make sure to go to all the waitlist rides and if you’re up for joining me at a work party that helps.

hello - are there any fire roads in bay area proximity? Something where i don’t have to ride for more than 2 hours (sure depends what part of the bay the starting point is), but i hope the idea is clear..

There are, info is out there, some have false gates to keep people out, all are relatively short rides. One area I ended up felt a little shooty at the far end, so I chose to not ignore the last gate. Saw a pack of riders on groms pass me as I was heading back out, so I guess they knew something I did not, or were not afraid of altercations being in a large group.

There are some east of Summit Rd. in the Santa Cruz Mountains. There are also numerous dead-end dirt roads in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
