There's a show called "You are what you eat" that is pretty funny. Basically, a bitchy Dr. takes really fat people and runs them and their diet through the ringer. The thing that cracks me up is the swearing, the Brits either cuss a lot, or like alot of cussing on their TV. Another funnny part of this show is that the Dr. scrutinizes their poo, on national television!!

Dr. - "Your poo is too small."

Guy - "What, are you some sort of fuckin poo size queen?"

:rofl:rofl

So, a question for the Brits, what the hell are "fry ups" ? Is it a particular kind of fried food, or is it "fried food" in general? Whatever it is, over weight Brits seem to eat a lot of it! After watching a few of these shows, it makes me feel a lot better about my diet. Some of these people are human garbage disposals. One lady went through half a stick of butter, on bread, with sugar on it, for breakfast! Add to that 4 eggs, 6 sausages, 3 donuts, and an entire pot of coffee! Oh, and don't forget the fry ups!! She weighed 25 stone, which sounds like alot, and looks like 300+. Yikes!

Edit - Top Gear is "the bollox"!!! Always giving the US the business, funny stuff!

Also "Absolute Power," "Hustle," "Attachments," "QI" and so much other good stuff. When I lived in Yurp I rarely watched anything besides BBC1 and BBC2 -- certainly not Dutch TV, which is almost as craptastic as American TV.

this just in from the BBC:

France's new First Lady made a demure first impression when she arrived in the UK for a state visit. Some papers said she was a cross between Jackie Onassis and Princess Diana.
