Do you wear a watch?

As for Jomashop, they're fine. A little slow sometimes though with getting the watch out the door. My comfort level with grey market watches from Jomashop is <$1K. I bought two Hamiltons from them. I don't think I could get an Oris, Omega, or Rolex from there.

My comfort level I decided was $5k. So my Omega made it under that line and I got it from them. I can’t seem to remember if it was sent signature required, and that’d be troubling if that wasn’t the case. Had it sent to my work to guarantee I wouldn’t have any package theft issues.

If I was buying a Rolex (not that you can get a brand new one for under $5k) or something else that has a strong resale value, I’d absolutely buy it from an AD.

Jomashop doesn’t sell Grand Seiko, and they have good resale, so AD it will be when that time comes from me.

Thanks. So, I got the Citizen I was looking at, and a Seiko 5 green dial with green canvas strap.

Which Citizen? I feel like I should have one. I like the really complicated one, it’s kinda like a Breitling Navitimer, and has waaaay too much going on. And some parts of the dial used used to calculate all kinds of pilot stuff like fuel and so on.

I've had a Rado for 20 years plus and I can't kill it. I wear it everywhere and it looks good dressed up or casual. The sapphire crystal and ceramic band takes an incredible beating and never shows a scratch!

It's an uncomplicated one. AR Charcoal

I'll see how it looks with my M Sport color NATO strap

I like the orange seconds hand :thumbup. A black strap w/ orange would look nice

The Rado is a very underrated watch IMHO.:thumbup

I Agree. The captain cook has been on my radar for quite a while now but the centrix would look a lot better not only for the wedding but for more occasions in general. It's classy, but not overstated. The bracelet looks fly and im betting it will look good on a leather strap too.

Yes. So yea, yes kinda.
I just always laugh at the title to this thread...

Yeah, I wear a watch. Sometimes. I got an iWatch for some United mileage. It is pretty cool. I wore it for an an hour today. I wonder where I left it...

She has arrived!

Looks like an awesome watch body (cylinder, .. master cylinder, too??) but I don't see the glitter/reflection/view of the bracelet much. So, it's a ceramic bracelet?

congrats, nice watch.

Stainless & ceramic

The white sweater is actually a lab coat. I work in a Laboratory we process all the COVID-19 swabs and draw blood and stuff.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. I'm really happy with the piece!
