Do you wear a watch?

The same...

OP had a list linking to watches he owned (or wanted to own) and then asked what we wear.

Rather than have it merged, he must have deleted it.

i just got a frontier gear s3 for my bday last month

its pretty cool, but only spent what i feel like 10% of setting it up, and have gave up - i got alotta shit to do with my drone hobby and its just piling up like crazy.

the worst was spending a few hours creating my custom watchface through samsungs provided software - pretty cool and easy to use actually with the coding for all the programming hidden in the background.

then jumping through the hoops to get certificates to actually publish the watchface -even though i just wanted to port it to my watch directly, ultimately failed on 2x machines because i could not get the watch to link up in bluetooth as a harddrive to loadup the watchface....

kinda sad after trying so hard and even reinstalling all the programs/software/drivers onto a laptop and using wifi instead of bluetooth - nothing.

I like it, but unless I already had a springdrive GS snowflake, I wouldn't add it to the collection.

Check out these macro shots of hands:

Answer to the original question...

no!
I have no idea what time it is, and I don’t care!
OK, not true. I hate being late. So there’s that.

Automatic dress watch

Very good. It’s an interesting price point. Certainly more money than nice Swiss made department store type (like what’s in the case at Macy’s) brands such at as Tissot, Hamilton, or Movado. But not quite at the big boy line of Rolex, Omega, Panerai, and so on.

How’s this for a start?

A Tag Heuer Carerra

There’s certainly other colors and such with this brand. But I think this is roughly the neighborhood we’re in as far as price and purpose yeah?

What's the best watch you can get for $2500 USD?

probably a pre-owned one.

Well, Tag is at Macy's, too., :laughing even a $5k Tag.

But a jomashop buy...? Super appealing, Like an Omega. But, as they say, "I don't know about Jomashop.." If anyone knows, let me know.

Nomos, ,,, fit that range.

not nomos I think. the cheapest automatic i see is $3180. I guess it depends from which.. "site". The others are manual.

beautiful watches but this feels like exactly a $1000 too much.:(

All hand-wound, except the one of $3000. anyway, I paid more attention to the first link. I apologize for posting, I did not really want to get into this now.

If you haven't seen a Nomos worn and seen how thin it is, it's easy to miss that--they're not actually automatic--they're "old-school" manual wind!

Then there is the style of some of the above... I'd say the model from the first link that says "the smallest watch yadda", (Nomos Club (703) -- anyway. :wow :later
