Deep, very deep, oh Zen master... :hail

Ahh yes.. I've done some consulting on the newly translated 'Motorcyclists Tao Te Ching'..

Thunder and Shadows: the image of RACING
Thus the superior man stands firm
And does not change his direction, lest he get run over.

:laughing

The last shadow I had was a Honda, and it weighed about 700 lbs...

Depends, ride faster if the shadow is too heavy..A blur is lighter.

good pocket shot screen saver. icons contrast out nice and perky.

the tao that can be spoken of is not the true tao.

yeah, the true tao says hunting and racing madden the mind..:ride

Silence!

The shadow knows.

What is the sound of one shadow clapping?

And finally, Dog!

That is to say:

First there is a shadow, then there is no shadow, then there is

Photons travel at the speed of light, and have no mass theoretically. So a shadow not only weighs nothing, but it does not exist.

According to the Honda website, a Shadow has a curb weight of 549 lbs...

:laughing That was the first thought I had...

I watched footage last night at Sonoma... racer had a rearward facing camera, was turning in to 11 (hairpin right hander), and another racer had thought he might try an inside pass, did not set it up right at all, realized his mistake, grabs a fistful of front to avoid t-boning the guy with the camera, and as we watch in slow motion, he stoppies, then endoes...
So I'm going to say the Superior Racer chooses a better line so he can stand firm! :p

". . .steps out of the shadow and says something like; 'you and me babe, how 'bout it?' "

Might not want to stand too close when you step out of the shadows...

Touché--

Isolated through opposition,
One meets a like-minded man
With whom one can associate in good faith
Despite the danger, no blame.
