I figured there's got to be plenty of other dog owners out there. So I was wondering if anyone can give me some recommendations to board my doggies that are in the Fremont area?

Thanks.

Brentwood Pet Resort is pretty awesome but that's pretty damn far from you. For a small extra charge they will take your dawg pal on a 'nature walk' and have a pool for hot days. In-house grooming if yer lazy and don't want to wash your pal yourself (for a charge of course).

If you were going to Reno or Tahoe you could come through town on your way out...dunno. Since no one responded I thought I'd 'throw you a bone.'

Oh, that's what you mean.

Planet Pooch in Redwood City.

They're awesome. It's a "doggy day care" facility where the poochies get to play with all the other dogs (big dogs in one area, little dogs in another area).

At night, most the poochies go home except the boarders. The boarders then go home with the overnight sitters and spend the night with a real person. You check boxes on the enrollment form like "sleeps on bed" or "does not sleep on bed" so they know who to send them home with. I think they've actually added an overnight "house" at the facility in Redwood city recently, so staff actually spend the night there with the boarders.

Either way, when I'm on vacation it's nice to know that I don't have to worry about my dogs. They get a nice holiday too. When I pick them up they sleep for a week!

Oh, they also have webcams during the day, so no matter where you are you can check in to watch your best friend :teeth
