Hopefully the first in a series of Bay Area Ducati rides. All models welcome!

Date: Sunday, May 24, 2009

Time: Meet at 9 Kickstands up at 9:20


Meet Location: Woodside Chevron

Destination: Santa Cruz

Route: Woodside Chevron - alice's - pescadaro loop? - 35 south - 9 south - santa cruz (break/gas) - 1 south - 152 east - watsonville road north - uvas road north - almaden/85 (everyone goes home, south of starting point, just to be fair to south bay people)

Let's Ride. Who's in?

South bay scenic pre-ride to the meeting spot (9to35to84). kickstands up 8 am from downtown Saratoga 76

We just don't want to hold you guys back when we break down. :)

But honestly, I think if other motorcycles show up, you will be more than welcome to join the ride. We will appreciate the company.

Pace is chill--safety is priority.

I will probably be doing a similar route that morning, but not on a ducati so I guess Im sitting out on this one :ride

I'm cool with it. I can't really see us only doing 1 break either. maybe we can work in a quick social/lunch/bike show at a Togo's or somewhere relatively fast to get food



I added some mapped routes to the OP. 100 miles or 140 with pescadaro. feedback?
With this being my only ride for the week, I'm happy with a longer ride but majority vote will take it.

I'm in for either option but prefer the 100 miler, especially if there is a decent sized group. I have a feeling it'll be a 5+ hour adventure if we get any sort of ciritical mass and the lunch may take closer to an hour, even at Togo's.

Either way, it should be good times!
 
I finally got my bike working right (i think). I should be able to meet at the 76 in saratoga. Who am I looking for there?

Yo EEL, The ride starts in Woodside. I can meet you in Saratoga at 8:30 if you want to slab it up 85-280. Let me know.

A friend and I (red Hypertard & black CBR) are going to be at Saratoga 76. We are scheduled to leave by 8, which of course means we will leave no later than 8:15 waiting for late arrivals. Mapquest calls it a 45 min ride on the mountain route. I plan on being across the street at *bucks for coffee around 7:40. Join us

This is another no sleep ride for me since i get off at 6am but i will deff. try to make this ride.
