Duraboost batteries?

http://antigravitybatteries.com/

These are American made and the owner rides a shovel head. The just did a write up on them in The Horse Magazine. They are not cheap but there seems to be some serious advantages:

We can only hope their expertise in making batteries exceeds their knowledge of the English language as regards spelling, syntax and punctuation.

“With either battery case style you will experiance an dramatic weightloss and much better starting performance”
“From a battery just over an inch wide that can start 600cc Race Bikes yet weighs less than a pound, to our latest monster at 720 Cranking Amps, wieghing only 5 pounds and can spin up the largest V-Twin Motors made we have you covered!”

If you read up on the various battery types, especially Lithium Ion, you'll find that they have different charging requirements that are not met by traditional charging systems found on motorcycles.

Sez so in the FAQ:

WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER THE FOLLOWING ELECTRICAL ISSUES.
• Using a Battery Tender or similar product on the Antigravity Battery (do not use trickle chargers)
• Use of Chargers intended for Lead/Acid batteries
• Use of Chargers NOT intended specifically for Lifepo4 Lithium Batteries with a maximum charge voltage not over 14.4v

So, they're selling a battery for a motorcycle that they know a motorcycle won't properly support? :roll eyes :thumb down

You can't use a Battery Tender or similar which is what most motorcyclists use?

You can' use a charger intended for lead/acid batteries? (That's exactly what the charging system on ALL motorcycles are. They're designed for lead/acid batteries.)

You can ONLY use their charger? (First intelligent thing they've said. What they don't say is how you're supposed to charge the battery while you're riding.)
