Haha uhhhh..... Happy Holidaze?

I like to visit Re-Cycle and lend a hand when I can. I used to go down there like "Oh there's folks that could help me set the sag on my bike! Sweet!" I gave up after awhile because it was like "Cool! Jim is here hey we have an electrical problem....." Now I throw a meter in the top case when I visit and have no expectations of working on my own ride at all. Oh well. Still a cool place I get to teach somebody something most times.
 
well. there probably is nothing as rare as a sober electrician..:|

cheery xmas tale

around 200 years ago, I was painting the interior of an ex-gfs' digs over near the castro district. I'd primed everything up nice with oil primer like we used to do, and stashed my thinners and dropcloths in the basement.
Next morning, I call her to see if she still wants me to epoxy the bathtub deep purple, and she says, no, you really don't have to come back here.
I say Why? You want to finish it yourself? and she says,

No...the place burned down last night.


*crickets*


so I am thinking about where exactly in sunny Mexico I would be soon re-locating to, when she adds

It's not your fault...the owner waited till every one was out and about last night and torched the place for insurance.
