Elena Myers make Thunder Hill debut!

motorkid was a tribute to our community. RIP.

Yeah, the SBR thread brings back lots memories.

aww man! :( I remember her back in the early days when she raced/tracked with us in the SMRRC days. My deepest condolences :cry GOD Speed, Linda :rose

I must have met her, but i certainly riding with her hubby Oscar a bunch of times was big fun.

Savor the good times. Friend on the ride are so awesome. You get to do the ride, then relive it many times, over a beer or whatnot.

Clothes Blossom! Private joke, but posted here somewhere.

I've been reading too many of these obit's for folks on here. I didn't know her, but probably heard her name tossed around. My sympathies for those near and dear to her.

Thanks for sharing the news...

:rip Linda

Condolences to Oscar and friends :rose

Infectious smile. :(

we all wonder, so, apparently it was a mtn bike incident at Clear Creek.

Bicycles. I still have four. Scary things. Ride. Ride NAKED.

SMRRC years.

aww man! :( I remember her back in the early days when she raced/tracked with us in the SMRRC days. My deepest condolences :cry GOD Speed, Linda :rose

Many great times out at Stockton... Hard to believe it's getting close to twenty years.. Some of those kids have finished their racing careers and gotten married:D

I feel a bit odd about resurrecting one of Matt's 16 yr old posts about an awesome achievement in Elena's racing career, and having it veer into an RIP thread; even for someone who played a part in making that day happen. Being able to reconnect Linda's memory with some of the folks that made up SMRRC, means a lot. It meant a lot to her.

I found a bunch of old photos from those years. Perhaps we should split the thread?

no worries. The search engine doesn't quite work as it should. It takes a bit effort attempting to find a specific thread topic. Sometimes, you have to settle for a thread remotely close. Yes, I / we have many great memories. Some of the ol' racers or track day riders are mostly on FB these days, than on BARF.

I haven't seen Matt nor Alena, since her days of racing AMA. Although, it's great seeing the kids from those days transition to the Top Racers they are today. I root for all of them :ride

Funny, I have found myself looking more forward to watching MA races, then WSBK, then MotoGP.
