As I was commuting to work this morning I came to a realization.....

It was a little cold and dreary with low hanging clouds, some wind and a fine mist clouding my face shield.

On the highway, every car was working like crazy to get as far left as possible leaving huge gaps of open space in the right lanes.

Hmmmmmm, gray, dreary, misty weather with cars on the left side of the road. This must be what it's like to commute in England.

did you suddenly feel like your teeth needed braces?

Damn, I wish I still had my wife's right hand drive BMW. I would have pulled up next to you and said "Top o' the mornin' to ya, guv'nah!"

I think that would have cemented the illusion for you :laughing

A German driving his French wife's car talking with an English accent. It would have been the united colors of Benetton of commuting. :laughing

Only difference is that gas for your mc only cost an arm. I just got back from England and gas costs are around $10 a gallon. My dad has an Audi A8 TD. He says it usually costs 120-140 ukp to fill it ($240 - $280) :wow

Too bad then, that if gas for an mc costs an arm, then the car drivers in the uk are probably driving without an arm AND a leg!

Well, maybe not, because my fake British accent is HORRIBLE ha!

I do know however that vans in England are called "people carriers", trucks are "lorries", and station wagons are "estate cars" :)

Cheers!
