Even though I'm married and got that discount, I was never a big fan of that policy applies to drivers and riders alike

I always thought the premise was that married people were more careful, less risky, etc.

I assumed they had actuarial data to match.

Perhaps not.

Insurance companies should increase the discount with the number of kids you have. Surely that demonstrates how responsible and attentive you are.

I think the discount for auto should be for those that have moto insurance too because we ARE superior drivers.

I'm no longer married so that discount is out of reach. Thats the bad news.
The good news is they offer a multiple vehicle discount. The price seems to drop whenever I add a bike.
I currently have 10.
I figure just a few more and they'll start owing ME money.
I love it when a plan comes together.

That has a measure. 28% fewer claims by M1 holders across vehicles. This probably doesn't apply to wild hog types and the other weekend warriors plaguing the sport.

I think I should pay liability insurance for one bike only, which swaps to the 'active' bike - I can only ride one bike at a time after all... :(

That is why it is not 50%. :laughing
