Family beats man who allegedly contacted girl, 14, for sex
From Kim Minugh

If the law wasn't reason enough to stay away from 14-year-old girls met on the Internet, here's another: Family.

Sacramento police arrested 25-year-old Christopher Michael Guzman on Monday night after he allegedly arranged to meet a 14-year-old girl at Garcia Bend Park for sexual acts - acts he wanted to catch on film, said Sgt. Norm Leong.

The two met on a social networking site, Leong said. Police allege that Guzman knew the girl was a minor when he proposed the meeting.

But when Guzman arrived at the park about 6 p.m., the 14-year-old was accompanied by her family, who had found out about the rendezvous, Leong said. The family members assaulted the suspect, and police were called to the scene.

Leong said the suspect suffered bumps and bruises in the fight. The case is being reviewed, Leong said, to determine whether the family members' actions "were reasonable."

Guzman was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on one felony count each of child molestation and knowingly using a minor to engage in obscene film, according to booking records. He was being held in lieu of $200,000 bail

Wonder what is "reasonable" in this case :laughing

:banana vigilante work at its best

They didn't kill him...sounds like they're reasonable law'n'order types. No reason to burden the courts further.

I hope the police report statement records the incident as follows.

"As I arrived upon the scene, witnesses 1 & 2 were subduing the suspect."

i'm usually pretty open about age differences... but 25 and 14 is plainly and clearly in the wrong - for both parties
