favorite line from a song?

hey there mister madman, what you know that i don’t know?
tell me some crazy stories, let me know who runs this show.
glassy eyed and laughing, he turns and walks away.
tell me… what made you that way.

I step into the room, split an arrow with an arrow
The first trick shot is just to show 'em that I dabble
I will not be aiming for the apple

So let's say it's working out
You pretend to love his mother
Lying to your friends about
How he's such a goddamn good lover

my great grandmother was a magic weaver.

she taught me well. ‘he cannot match your will…’

maybe that was part of the mystery of the web he found himself caught in.

i don’t remember a single bar that we didn’t show up drunk at
so when i first kissed her lips, i know she damn sure tasted whiskey
…but she didn’t seem to mind

For me, these lyrics provided my life with much meaning:

Love when you can
Cry when you have to
Be who you must
That's a part of the plan
Await your arrival
With simple survival and
One day, we'll all understand

The lyrics are from a song called “Part of the Plan” by Dan Fogelberg.

‘i got me some reel problems. there’s 10 pounds of bass on my 7 pound test.’

reminds me of simple pleasures - fishin’ with my grandpa. no matter how sideways it ever went, he taught me how to land ‘em. we celebrated with a fish fry. him smiling at me, me grinning at him. miss that crazy old man.

He tells me in his bedroom voice…
"C'mon, honey, let's go make some noise"

okay - one track mind. but it’s a great fucking track. amiright?!?!

If I don't have to ride your roller coaster anymore...
Then I won't wait in line like all the other poor souls.
Waiting just to be told that your ride's oversold...
And I don't have to worry about that anymore

these days i been looking in the mirror wondering if that’s me lookin’ back or not.

i’m still the apple of my momma’s eye. i’m my daddy’s worst fears realized.

… i’m back out on that road again. turn this beast into the wind.
