There was a guy on here many years ago, BARF handle was MOIKE I believe. If I remember correctly he had something like XVW DVW which looked like MAD MAX when upside down. Sorry if I missed any details, it was about 20 years ago

Yes, XVW DVW, ran it on the street-legal kneeler. Got many tickets for it, argued every single one of them in court to successful dismissal because the law in the UNABRIDGED California Vehicle Code was poorly written and left loopholes on what 'Clear and Legible' was defined as. At the time there was no specifics in regards to orientation. At the end of every case dismissal as I was walking out of the courtroom I told the officer if they did not like the judgment, and they did not like the law, they should get it changed, and the next time they stopped me under false pretenses due to ignorance of the law I would come after them and leave a mark on their service record.

I left several marks on service records because I grew up with bullies, I hate bullies, and I am nothing but spiteful, petty, and have too much free time.

The applicable vehicle codes were in fact rewritten after about a decade of my habitual line-stepping and Smokey Yunick rules lawyering.

I have no criminal record, I have never been arrested. I have stared down the barrel of more than one gun held by a shaky officer ready to piss his BDUs while I just sat in the saddle grinning like a lunatic, calmly, staring right through their head. Once with Doc Wong himself sitting on a Moto Guzzi right beside me.

Well I don't ride much these days aside from taking the old man out to keep him in good shape now and then. SF Bay Area isn't what it was in the 90's / early 00's.

And it's not me getting old, shit's changed. I'm still ripping stoppies and stand ups, smoking back tires, and jumping flights of stairs on sportbikes. But I hate sharing the road with the meat man. The meat sucks and I did not know how good I actually had it back then before smartphones.

And it's not really a welcome back, I'll probably kick around a few days as a distraction, and then fade away again. I'm not riding much, so I don't really feel it's honorable for me to participate. It's disrespectful to those who go out there every day on the Bay Area roads willing to pinball off cars for the love of the ride.
