Feminist lesbian lives as a man for 18 months

Or are taught that discussing their feelings is a sign of weakness. Which is a disservice to everyone. Their friends, romantic partners, etc.

That isn't true at all. We understand that having feelings is totally appropriate, important, and valuable to discuss with the guys.

We also understand that if you have any feelings except stoked or angry, you are a woman.

:)

I read about this experiment years ago in the Guardian; 2006 maybe?

I grew up in a time and place where sexual violence against women was, thankfully, relatively rare. However, random street violence against young men was endemic; walking home alone from work or school on any given day I never knew for sure that I was going to make it home alive. I found her / Ned's experience crossing from being conscious of the former to conscious of the latter particularly fascinating.

There are advantages and challenges inherent in any deck dealt by the lottery of birth; man, woman, straight, gay, white, black, Latino, Jewish, Buddhist, whatever it is. For sure some or many of those challenges are larger than others, but the world only stands to benefit from a better understanding of what other people are working with and against.

This is a really good video, it explores the male psyche from the POV of a woman.

....
Interesting that some of the women she dated wanted to carry on a relationship after she told them she was a gal. These were heterosexual women.

Ultimately she was really happy she i a women.

Operative word is were.
I would be happier as a woman, too. As long as I didn't marry me, that is to say.

I tend to have emotional feakouts about once a year where I become self destructive and a real lunatic.
I can never see it coming until it's happening.

Other than that I'm stone cold analytical for the rest of the year
