This is something that has seemed to have changed after one of the Firefox updates over the last few months.
When I right-click on a link and choose "Open Link in New Tab", it opens it in a new tab--but the new tab steals focus. I can't figure out how to change this back to the way it used to be. I used to be able to CTRL-click (open in new tab) a bunch of news articles on, say, Google News, or a handful of different BARF threads, and they'd all open in the background (all the while keeping me on the same page).
Ideas?
