Ok folks here is the Deal! PRICED TO SELL FAST!!!!
I am moving and need to sell my bike.
This is a 91-93 NSR250SE MC21 with gull dual sided swingarm, dry clutch, 17" wheels, and fully adjustable suspension. (which has been completely redone!) I have spent a bunch of money on this bike, so my BIG loss is your gain.
The bike is not currently running right. I have been unable to correct the problem but someone with good 2stroke knowledge should be able to repair no problem. The problem it's having is the powervalves won't kick in. It loses power at around 3000rpm I think. I haven't looked at the bike for a while. I had someone looking at it but was never able to get to it.
The bike has been to the track once and ran great until last session when some bad advice caused the engine to seize. since then, the top end was replaced, but has never ran right since.
The crank has been inspected by 2 different people and is in good condition. Possible problems could be a warped head or maybe a bad rectifier? I don't know.
Since I have purchased the bike, I have spent a bunch of money! I had the suspension completely redone. The front forks were revalved and resprung by Phil at AFTERSHOCKS. The rear shock is a custom fit brand new Aprilia RS250 shock that was also revavled and has an Ohlins spring also done by AFTERSHOCKS. It also comes with a new Ohlins 140mm? (maybe 150mm) steering damper. It also has a set of aftermarket expansion chambers but I don't know what brand.
The bike also comes with nearly new MC28 M-Racing track plastics (never painted, still with white gelcoat). The plastic is in perfect condition and has never been down.
I also have some spares and extra's:
-Half of a top end
-Brand new JHA jet kit not installed yet(worth $280)
-oil plug (bike is currently still oil injected)
-brand new premix gas can never used
-several liters of 2 stroke oil
-Pit Bull SS rear stand.
-set of pirelli supercorsas ss front and rear (one track day)
-Brand new Battery tender plus (still in package)
-New York fuggitabout it chain and lock to keep it safe
This bike is not street legal. It comes with no street parts.
Price $2500
Take into consideration the work that has gone into this bike. I paid $3500 for this bike with a totally shot suspension.
I am taking a HUGE loss. So somebody please buy it. It needs a good home and someone who can get it back out on the track! Someone with some good 2-stroke knowledge should have no trouble getting it up and running.
