4 corners is now at 9/35.
The old timers used to call 35/84 four corners - but that was so long ago the pacific plate moved 9/35 up a bit - some of those guys and gals are pretty old....:thumbup

Clearly, unofficial names are just that - unofficial.

Since Alice’s (and STP) is such a famous landmark, I don’t see why that area needed another nickname to confuse people, unless you want to call it ASTP. 9/35, on the other hand, deserves a catchy nickname, so it got my sympathy vote as the Four Corners. :teeth

Many of them who still ride have moved on from the worlds fastest (Z1's,H2's & 3's) to GS1200's and Harleys. They managed to thwart Darwin for decades.

You can see some weird things at Four Corners.

I just puked my breakfast :mad

As if a "lady" (I use that term rather liberally here) that's big enough to be in all four states at once (probably without the help of visiting that landmark) wasn't enough to make me vomit my cereal, you've got a guy in birkenstocks with painted toenails :wtf

That pic is full of fail :rant

After riding skyline for a number of years, Ive heard people refer to four corners as two different places. The top of 9 and skyline (35) ... and the top of 84 at skyline. Also referred to as STP skywood trading post or Alice's restaurant. I know its just a knickname, but what is more commonly used?
They both have "four corners"

...apparently, it all depends on where your turf is...

This as well. Intersection of Grizzly Peak/Claremont/Fish Ranch Rd. in the Oakland hills.
...but hooli, as usual, is correct. four corners for east bay folks and the crew at the wall is.....

claremont
skyline + grizzly peak
fish-ranch

It's gonna be unsettled until the official pronouncement is delivered by Ernie.

I thought it was a guy too but it actually looks like a woman with man hands

Why would anyone insist on nicknaming the intersection with gas stations and a world famous restaurant vs. an intersection with no distinguishing features that also happens to be a popular meeting spot?

Of course 4 corners is 9&35

84&35 is Alice's (Or STP)
