Frankie is settling in to his new home after a couple of stressful days in a brand new environment. After two nights of crying and sleeping, he is now eating, drinking, using his litterbox, and head-butting when he wants to be petted. He purrs almost constantly and is a bit of a ho for belly rubs. :) Being deaf, he has no idea how LOUD his meow is and for some reason he is totally obsessed with watching himself in the mirror :laughing

Tom is deciding on a new name, but it will most likely be Otto. As you can see, they have similar sleeping styles....

Too funny!! I was thinking the same thing. He loves being rubbed sooo much and would not be freaked out by the sound of it.
He was a bit dirty and had super long front claws when we picked him up. He was totally chill when I clipped his claws and gave him a little bath with kitty wipes

you should name him after that 50s singer they called "ol' blues eyes", WTF was his name? singing at ya of sumpin like that.
 
Well, it's been 9 years and he's still our boy. Moved out to Colorado in 2015 and introduced him to snow and backyard squirrels. His favorite toy is the giant cat/hamster wheel he runs on all night long. He has the heart disease that goes along with the blue eyes and deafness, but so far so good. Might be just a bit spoiled. :teeth

OMG I love you guys! Thank you so much for the update!

On another note. I just had one of those moments where I question my sanity because I had completely forgotten about this thread. I saw the title, I saw my name, I'm running on 4 hours of sleep, and I started to worry that I was posting things without me knowing it.
