>>> FREE ANNUAL DYNO-DAY @ NorCal-Cycles 12/5/2015 <<<

Thanks for the dyno runs, food, and hospitality.

Did a couple runs, one with the akrapovic db killer installed, and one with it removed. I learned that the difference was approximately 5 hp on the top end.

It was a great time checking out all the bikes and chatting with a bunch of the riders.

I also learned that bikes putting out anything over 120db on the dyno was extremely loud. 117-120db was standard for most of the bikes with stock or aftermarket exhaust. A GSXR600 with shorty exhaust set the record at 127.7db.

It looked like everyone had a good time.

Dog

I also want to thank those from NorCal-Cycles for putting this on. :thumbup

I would like to see everyone's "scores" for their runs.

My XR650L hit 41.6 hp for all three runs. I'm happy with that. :teeth

The other XR650L that ran right after mine which was pretty much the same tuning - even the same year - but with a stock 100mm piston instead of my 102.41mm 10.5:1 piston produced just a hair under 35.6

I need to thank Steve, the XR650 engine guru, for the extra six horsepower.

So let's have a few other hp numbers. :cool

I also had the james bond smoke screen on my XR! haha

awesome day, glad I brought my XR versus my other bikes

thanks norcal cycles, you guys are great. love coming every year to see all the big WHP bikes

Thanks to the norcal cycles guys for hosting! My KTM 690 Enduro made 59.5 hp with a slip on :)

I may have to get me one of those. 50% more power than my XR and better dirt handling too. :cool

Thanks to all the guys that came out:thumbup Glad you guys had a great time:party:party:party

Damn, totally forgot about this. Surprised no one setup a group ride to or from this event (otherwise I would've been reminded about it):teeth

There will be another dyno day next year... Maybe you'll make it:thumbup

We will be planning on either spring or summer time (when it's a little warmer for the seasonal riders:p)

- There will be a BBQ next dyno-day AND air/fuel readings offered at a small fee, Base HP dyno readings will still be free:teeth:teeth:teeth -

I should have brought my bike - everyone would have felt better about theirs :)

- See you next dyno day:teeth:teeth:teeth

Oh that's a shame.

Would be cool to make it a contest. Winner get BARF plate or something. Why does it not spit out torque numbers? That's strange...

- Top HP - zx12r with juice 209HP - :ride:ride:ride
- In order to make sure we have time for everyone to get a spin on the dyno, we no longer provide torque readings on dyno day events because access to spark plug wires are time consuming(most bikes usually under tank) - :afm199:afm199:afm199

The dyno sheets didn't have torque numbers.
Mine spit out torque numbers... :dunno
Here is a copy of my dyno sheet. Please point out the torque numbers that I missed.
