Free Tunes Red Wireless Headphones Offer

FWIW I bought some Monoprice wireless earbuds for $12 each with the same mentality, that it's cheap and worth the risk if they suck (but with the option to be able to return them if I didn't like them).

I ended up loving them compared to my Powerbeats (2nd gen). Functions better the the Powerbeats in every way possible (except for not being water resistant).

Not sure I'd buy something from a random website with no return policy though, that just sounds too scammy :laughing.

They aren't free and I'm not the only one saying it. If $4 tops worth of shipping is worth $25, go for it. At least they could offer a 2 fer for "just pay an additional fee".

Contacted the company yesterday. I got an email back in 10 minutes saying that the headphones are special order for the red color and that my order has already been processed. They will send shipping information when available. If this is a scam, why return an email so quickly?
 
So you don't immediately stop payment on the credit card before they go to Nigeria with it?
 
they still have to be manufactured. They're likely waiting to hit a volume discount level.

That's why they have so much shipping lead time in front of them.

PS: they are still free errr $24.99.
 
I got tired of waiting so I filed a claim with PayPal and was promptly refunded...

Shady website that has nice photos of their 4 cheap products, 3 of which they offer for free w/ promo code (RED, BLACK & SOULJA or CHYNA)) as long as you pay a high shipping cost (which is actually more than what the product is probably worth). No way are these worth anywhere near their blown out of proportion imaginary $250 (& $150) retail prices. This is all a gimmick to sell their cheap products. They don't sell them anywhere but on their own website, and they've never actually been "for sale". The same promo has been going on for years. They don't even sell the headphones in the first picture at the top of the home page.

They take anywhere from 6-12 weeks to be delivered, if you actually get the item, and probably ship directly from China. They have no company info on their website at all, no company address & no phone number. The only contact info is an email address. Their Terms of Service is all about using the coupon code, and says there is no returns, cancellations or refunds allowed, only a 7 day exchange policy (if they even really honor that) & no warranty on the products. Their privacy policy clearly states that they may use and share your personal information, including your full name, mailing address, email address & phone number for marketing purposes (spam time!).

I see red flags all over this "not so good" deal. Don't fall for it folks! Remember, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is! Buy from legitimate online retailers that will protect your purchases as well as your privacy! Definitely DO NOT give these scammers your credit or debit card info. You may regret it in the future.

Also, this is the OP's first deal post here on SlickDeals. Nice try, but try again when you find a more reputable, less shady deal.[

Awesome jdhu! Ive had mine for awhile now and think I scored. Thanks OP for the link. I charged them for the second time yesterday since I got them. Using them now listening to a podcast. Post up a review when you test them.

There are a few unboxing videos on Youtube. They are low quality headphones. I'd like to say, that's what you get for $25 but my Sennheiser HD201's cost $19.99 and are very good. So I'm going to say that's what you get for $25 if you don't apply your critical thinking skills. Red Flag - They don't even put the specs of the speaker on the website so you can't compare it to anything. It's a marketing strategy popular in Asian countries and works well on people that are always deal hunting. There's a reason the San Francisco Premium Outlet Mall (in Livermore) has signs printed in Chinese and special deals all over. You don't see the same marketing strategy in Vacaville or Napa because the demographics are different.
 
Just an FYI. If you go to their homepage, select the black, use code BLACK at checkout, it’s the same price and you don’t have to wear red. Does seem weird. $250 product for $25. :dunno
 
I just googled Sennheiser HD201 and Amazon shows that pair with a cord. The tunes are wireless. Anyway they work great for me so you may say I got taken but I say I made out. Seems the manufacturer and I both got what we wanted.
