Game of Thrones Season 8

The way they foreshadowed the bells ringing, I really expected Cersei to use it as a tactical advantage.
Ring the bells and lead the lambs to slaughter.

I had the same thought. I liked the episode as it reminded me of Ned dying, the red wedding and all the other WTF moments in the show.

She definitely kept her promise from earlier, though. That’s one way to break the wheel. Revolution is not often pretty and usually involves breaking things so they can be remade hopefully better. But I don’t see her being well received by her new subjects. Hopefully Varys got some ravens off to some remaining important people.

I wonder now how they will wrap it all up. I’m wondering if that nihilistic thread that runs through the whole story that none of it matters will hold through. Every major thing that happens is abrupt and just happens.

The Clegane fight was a little underwhelming. Ser Gregor should have lost an arm, or something.

Word.

I was kinda disappointed that Gregor looked like a giant baby though.

Well looks like we backed the wrong horse...did not think that episode could possibly end with Cersei looking human and Dany the monster.
If only The Hound had have struck Cersei down as she passed him on the stairs.

Arya has a new name on her shit list for sure.

in a way...

if Jon would have sucked it up and kept giving sexy time to his hot aunt-queen, a million lives would have been saved. Would that have been so horrible? He knew she had no allies, and yet still couldn't give her a reason to calm down. His North-borne morality just completely ruined Dany's reign and countless lives. Truly selfish of Jon

Looked like Darth Vader when he took his helmet off.

Cersei was like "um, excuse me, pardon me, just passing by..." :laughing

I thought they were going to let Arya die in the street; it would have been an evocative juxtaposition against her heroics to save the living kingdom last week.
But yeah, she'll be gunning for Dany now.

I came to post this very thing! It's John Snows fault, he should have gone balls deep like he already had. Giving her some good D probably would have calmed and chilled her out. But no, she went into battle rejected, sexually frustrated, and went crazy.

You know nothing John Snow!

Considering how badly he betrayed her with spillin the beans, I didn't know how that scene was gonna go anyway.

But it not exactly boner-inducing for a guy to be with his aunt with whom he broke his solemn promise no matter how 'effin cute she is. And she was lookin' pretty good there. Damn.

I kinda expected Tyrion to get flambeed along with the eunuch-guy as sort of a suprise gore thing, speakin' of anticipated things.

Sometimes you just gotta take one for the team.

Arya did a total Tom Cruise/Michael Bay speed run. 👍

I mean, he's kind of the hero of the series and I like him but he's pretty much been a walking fuck up for the entire show. If it weren't for his friends and allies (and luck) he never would have gotten this far.
