I had the same thought. I liked the episode as it reminded me of Ned dying, the red wedding and all the other WTF moments in the show.
She definitely kept her promise from earlier, though. That’s one way to break the wheel. Revolution is not often pretty and usually involves breaking things so they can be remade hopefully better. But I don’t see her being well received by her new subjects. Hopefully Varys got some ravens off to some remaining important people.
I wonder now how they will wrap it all up. I’m wondering if that nihilistic thread that runs through the whole story that none of it matters will hold through. Every major thing that happens is abrupt and just happens.
