Gas Prices

It's going to be a race between supply increases and demand destruction. All the way to 2028. The way people are pumping the brakes on elective travel, I'm voting for the latter to bring prices down.
 
$5.99 for regular unleaded and $8.something for diesel at our local station.
 
Marathon prices in Fremont -

Regular $5.85
Premium $6.29
Diesel $8.49

Gas prices up .15 to .20 per gallon over the last two weeks. Diesel is unchanged.
 
Back during the financial crisis when gas first hit $4, it became sort of a regular thing in the east Sac area I inhabited that when getting gas someone would be waiting around the corner then pull up alongside once you got the pump activated and give you a sob story of how they’re broke and in need of just a squirt of gas to make it to Stockton or some other valley town.
You’d have to scout the area to make sure the coast was clear before running your card.
Not in that area anymore but wonder if that’s still a thing with this latest gas hike.
