A perfect score on SAT is not an indicator of success or the ability to actually do anything.
Nope, but beats having a 400 score.

It's a step in right direction though, don't you think?![]()

I saw a NOW HIRING sign at the Burger King.
To be fair, it seems like a lot of job descriptions are written for a combination of Jesus, Superman, Batman, and the director of HR. "Entry level" positions asking for a Master's Degree, 5+ years of experience, and a list of skills almost as long as my...you know.
I could understand why someone new to the workforce would get quickly frustrated/overwhelmed and say "fuck it, here's what I think I can do, can someone with more experience point me in the right direction?"

Yup. Just means you're good at taking multiple choice tests. I did absurdly well on the SAT (parents made me take it), even though I had zero college aspirations and only paid just enough attention in HS to graduate.
That said, I actually did have a guy in my graduating class pull the 1600 score and he's a MD (dermatologist I think) now.
Did the OP get blown out of his own thread already???
Wheredja go?![]()
No doubt some smart people will also get 1600.
There's a book by Malcom Gladwell called Outliers asking why some very smart people aren't successful.
Probably checked out after the first page after no offer from a BARFer working at Pixar or Dreamworks to just give him a push button job as an AD on their next movie.

See. He was very smart. He doesn't have to mess with anyone's turds, yet still makes dinero gigante.
Uber/Lyft on the side.
