GoGo's round 4, Pre-race props

If I were in town this weekend, I'd have to go up and watch this...eeez gonna beee gooooood. :cool

Ask anyone, I never talk shit and definitely don't sugar coat performance. You get no hugs and rainbows for being a girl, participating, or handed 2nd.

bring your A-game.

I just spent 3 days up at Thill. I love that place.

Does anyone see the kind of shit we're up against here?

Who spends three non-race days practicing at T-hill?

I say we score OT on a curve from now on.

At least you get trackdays ... between work and school I barley make races as it is, let alone trackdays

Last year the guys cut off Tiger Boy's rubber lion head and glued it to a platter, BEFORE our race.

Do I need to say what happened twenty minutes later?

Racing is too unpredictable. I am too superstitious. No racer on the planet is always fastest.

Amen. It's why I like you Eric...you're not a shit talker in the least.

This picture is brilliant. :laughing :thumbup

Glad to see you writing again, even if it's not quite where I expected to find it ;)

And I take it that the light oil was breaking down under normal use and was a big part of what was causing the shock to fall to pieces?

Actually two days of those were teaching 2:55 riders to become 2:20 riders. Guaranteed to help your pace!

I think the light (normal) oil was breaking down under heavy (abnormal) use - which was causing the shock to fall to pieces. Exactly. It had nothing to do with heat from the exhaust, far as we can tell. But it definitely sucked.

I am not writing, yet, Conan. So far just copy and pasting, uploading, copy and pasting, uploading.

Sorry for the inside joke everyone else. Conan has been helping me create a new blog. Unveiling early next week :boobies

Perhaps you should have Ken Hill mentor you as well, seems to have done the trick for your nemisis.:laughing

You need to realize, this is peanut butter and jelly on two week old wheat bread VS prime rib steak sandwich on your Diner's Club card. I'm still saving up to finally get our bike mapped on a dyno for shit sake. Spears is doing it next week. Yes I realize that's a few days too late, but it's progress. And as long as we're making progress...

It's all good, Barry sorts our forks out, Ken can ride on the back with him for all I care. I want the grumpy fucker up front.

ED MOLIGN ! What's up buddy?

Hey GoGo .... you aint alone in the 'can't save money for shit' bit brutha .... can't even make the damn stuff way things are here. But, other than that and winter finally settling in these last few days after a weirdly warm autumn ... it's still the 'same shit, different day' routine here.
I'm envious as hell reading about you guys getting ready for your race days .... good luck in your quest bro.
Awesome pic .... what was that tech inserting into your head :)

Really glad to hear you're getting the bike sorted out, GoGo.
I love watching all you fast guys race... it's exciting and inspiring, and makes me want to try just a little bit harder the next time I'm out there!
I'll be cheering for you next round, and look forward to your write-ups!

These threads are great.

You've got a gift for writing about setting up a bike GoGo, even if you don't think you are that great at actually setting up the bike.

Thanks for the good read and good luck getting it all dialed in.

As the backmarker in Open Twins its fun to hear about what's going on at the front. :)

True.

Not many hot laps were to be had by Steve or any other KFG that I saw out there, aside from the last few sessions of the weekend.
