Golden State Warriors 2015-2016

69-9 is disappointing? :laughing

Tonights loss is hella disappointing. If they were resting starters I'd agree with your point. But Kerr coached like he was going for the win, and they blew a bunch of double-digit leads.

In the grand scheme of things this is still an awesome season. But the chance to numerically be considered the Best Ever is now on a razor's edge.

Not at all, this is the same as any pro team dealing with a long hard schedule. They have the #1 seed locked up (almost) and don't need to waste energy on these garbage games. So while it might look like they are trying, really, they aren't trying (at a playoff level).

These regular season records are worthless, nobody cares. Just ask the undefeated Patriots who got defeated by the Giants in the Super Bowl. Regular season, pfffft. Truly, nobody cares. Just ask anyone "what's the best record for any pro team starting a new NBA season" and nobody will know. The Warriors did it earlier this season, and (drumroll) nobody cares, nobody remembers. It got some hoopla, then immediately forgotten by all.

Playoffs matter, win that championship. THEN people will care. :teeth

Yeah, but teams don't get many chances to break a record like most wins in a season.

The only reason why the Bulls 72-10 is remembered as much as it is, is because they won the championship.

Remember the patriots perfect season? Not talked about very much.

I'd rather take a ring instead of the record and no ring. Of course both would be the icing. :ride

I thought they'd play Varejao to screen Curry. He's big and floppy and great at that. He didn't play at all. Is he hurt or what?

Barnes had the hot hand last night and they went away from him in the 2nd half then as the game got tight they were timid on the 3 ball. That play with 14 seconds in the game was terrible. Curry got trapped, Klay passed up a shot in the lane and the shot clock ran out.

In the playoffs in close games, Curry is gonna get blitzed a lot, hope they are ready for that.

Curry is used to getting blitzed, but usually draymond is there to be the outlet. Too bad he fouled out

This bitter taste will be washed away by the champagne. Keep your eyes on the prize: repeat, threepeat, then dynasty.

It took their 70th win to clinch home court.

crazy.

And against the guys right on their tails!

Screw the record, I want a win in SA. What is it, 19 years with no regular season wins there?

Someone tweeted about the Warriors:

70 wins. 385 three-pointers for Curry. 13 triple-doubles for Green. 100 old players who say they suck. :rofl

Sprewell was on the team when they did it, now he's on a commercial as an example of what a kid shouldn't become.

:laughing Yeah, not sure why those old players have so much hate....

They play the Spurs in San Antonio sunday in back to back after playing Grizzlies in Memphis on Saturday. So lame.

I'm hoping Pop sits some guys and then Kerr limits minutes too. Spurs would only be playing to maintain their undefeated home record which Pop even said is worth about as much as a coffee.
