Golden State Warriors 2019-2020

Anybody catch Steph lobbying Giannis after the game against the Bucks? :laughing

I heard it was to play some video game or something, not join the team.

Gawd, the scoring issue. Here they were, actually holding the Bucks down but went into their can't-hit-nothin' mode. Painful to watch, but I keep watchin.

Andre Iguodala traded from Memphis to Miami... looks like the Heat are gonna make a run. May include Crowder, too. :dunno

Trade deadline tmrw.

D'lo, Spellman, Evans to Minnesota for Wiggins and picks

D'Angelo Russell to Timberwolves

Warriors trade D'Angelo Russell to Timberwolves for Andrew Wiggins, picks, reports say
The Golden State Warriors have reportedly traded D'Angelo Russell to the Minnesota Timberwolves ahead of the NBA trade deadline Thursday.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowksi first reported the trade, and it was confirmed by other reporters not long after.

In return, Golden State is receiving wing Andrew Wiggins, a 2021 first-round pick that is top-three protected, and a 2021 second-round pick. Omari Spellman and 2018 first-round pick Jacob Evans are also going to Minnesota in the reported trade.

"Minnesota kept pushing for Russell, who it has wanted since summer free agency and finally got the point guard Gerssson Rosas imagined pairing with [Karl Anthony-Towns]," Wojnarowski tweeted.
Don't know if this will be net positive or not.

OMG. There is nothing left of this season. They might as well forfeit the games than bother playing them.

Honestly, I thought of Alec Burks as sort of a Shaun Livingston-Iggy older guy who you can count on. I thot D'Lo was wait and see how he alternates with Klay and Steph.

Let's see if they can lose by 100 points to the Lakers!

Jordan Bell, 3 teams in 24 hours. T-wolves to rockets to Memphis. Thought he had staying power but clearly teams think otherwise.

Warriors stacking picks and Wiggins probably better fit with Steph and Klay than D-lo. Could also trade Wiggins and picks for Giannis in a sign and trade after this is or next season IF he Giannis doesn't plan to stay with the Bucks. Good chance they win this year though and he's have to stay if that happens.

The trades gets them under the Salary Cap. That means they can spend lots next year without getting a repeater penalty.

I don't expect Wiggins to be around next year. I heard there are bets on how long it will take for Draymond to make him cry.

Wiggins is a project to fit in the Harrison Barnes/Kevin Durant position. They will make him better, like McGee, like Chriss. He doesn't have to be KD good, he just has to be HB good.

Burks was going to be their bench savior, like Livingston. But his was an expiring contract and he was playing so well he was increasing his value.

The strength in most of these trades is in the draft picks....

Also Wiggins contract. Trades in NBA have to close $$ wise. This gives Warriors a chip that is worth $27mil a season. So if they pie in the sky can get Giannis he may toss the Bucks a bone and do a sign and trade so gives them something on his departure out of town.

Whoa, Kerr was making a statement last night against the Lakers.

M. Chriss 27:17
A. Wiggins 30:52
K. Bowman 29:07
E. Paschall 27:53
D. Lee 22:23
J. Poole 22:46
J. Toscano-An 19:28
Z. Norvell Jr 17:19
K. Looney 14:25
J. Pargo 14:15
A. Smailagic 14:05

Toscano? Norvell? Pargo? LOL. BTW, Toscano is from East Oaklamd.

Wiggins looked good. Chriss looked great.

The only other player I've seen like him was a young Sir Charles with the 6ers; a force of talent, will, and mass.

At this point, the Warriors have the worst record (12-47) in the NBA (2nd worst is 15-43) and seem a lock for the worst record.

They're in line for the first pick. Is that part of the plan?
