I mentioned The Waitresses the other day to my wife, and she'd never heard the song, so I played it for her. She objected that it really wasn't rap, but I said that in 1981, most people still had no idea what rap actually was.
Besides, the title refers just as well to the storyline, which wraps back at the end to where it started.
