I only did a cursory listen when recording these frequencies.
I think I have 18 FM presets and 6 AM. AM? Seriously? I understand Teslas do not even have AM,

Layoff the :smoking

But to play along:
Traffic channel
Doctor Radio
Coffee House
Alt Nation

Seriously Sirius or forget it

By the time I left the Bay Area there were zero radio stations that I felt were worth listening to. There is one, 101.5, where I live now that is sometimes okay, but too many commercials most of the time.

I make MP3 CDs and put music on USB thumb drives to deal with my music craving.

I tried Serius XM when I bought my 2014 Ford and it was okay, but not great. Definitely not good enough for me to bother paying for it. When I bought my 2021, I never once tuned in to SeriusXM during the three month trial period.

Here is my list Butch.

My car consumption is from 7 to 7 or so and I miss a lot of the day working but can be in the car at any hour depending on meetings I need to get too.

92.3 budmans's station is really wierd - Use to be cool as hell. The home of rock n roll :party No longer a preset :laughing

FM:
95.7 THE GAME Sports talk. (an alt sports talk for me - Ex: Not a big basketball guy so might jump if 680 is doing hoops. - Also a few kind of cool chats with a younger crowd.)
98.5 Rock for the South Bay (depending on the song I bounce from 107.7)
104.5 KNBR's FM broadcast (I listen to 680 on AM)
107.7 rock THE BONE!

AM.
680 - KNBR Sports talk (most frequent listen)
740 - News (my commercial on 680 go to)
810 - Chat sports and stuff.. (seems to have drifted away from politics - at least when I am listening)
1050 Sports talk sister station.

I am a cheapo so don't do sirius. I probably listen to AM 80% of the time :afm199

FM 15% and CD's 5%.

If I am listening to music at the office it is either youtube or Radio Garden.
I found X-ROCK 101.1 out of Spearfish South Dakota as my go too. During the lock down I searched the world for the best rock and SD won my heart.

EDIT: Just went to listen and it failed to load. Uh oh. Looks like it has gone away like KSJO :rant

I have found myself angry way too much these days, set up by the daily news.

I NEED to get back into music, get the bombs & bloodshed out of my head, and back into a catchy tune.

I used to have playlists on the 'puter, but when ITunes got into compilations, and blew my albums and playlists apart, I turned to thumb drives too, got about 20 each, car & rig.

96.9 for Vacaville

93.3, 100.5, 104.3, Morro Bay

101.1 Spearfish

Seriously Sirius or forget it

Yup. Only time I listen to regular FM radio is when I happen to be on a car and the 49er game is on. Then it’s 107.7 The Bone. OP has a new car…I know the SiriusXM is activated for at the very least 30 days.

Fun fact: Paul Tonelli from 107.7’s Lamont and Tonelli morning show is also the announcer for 49ers games at Levi’s Stadium. Been going to games for years and never realized that.

KALX 90.7 the DJ plays whatever they want, so you can classical, rock, rap, country.

KDFC 89.9 and 90.3 around here. classical

KVHS 90.5 Clayton Valley High School radio station. mostly rock of all genres

Fun Fact: I have known Paul since he was a flying traffic reporter for KSJO. He is a really good guy.

I think Butch is talking about his new used Honda so Sirius won't be included.

Commercials killed broadcast radio for me.

After three or four years of clicking 'favorite' as I listened to streaming, I now have the coolest radio station on Earth. It plays only music I like and with no commercials ever!

What other station would play Mozart next to David Gilmour?

The Honda is a 2004 S2000 with an alpine stereo my stable of cars are 2004, 2005 and 2006. I do have a 2018 Alta…

The Honda is going up Mount Hamilton today..

Derp. Should have known it was the used S2000. It’s not like I didn’t post in that thread or anything.

Mt Hamilton is a great drive for a car like that.

Yup and Yup. :thumbup

My Caddy allows me to mix presets on one platform. Both AM and FM.
Makes it easier to quickly adjust vs having to toggle AM and FM to get to them like my other car. Both have a 1 CD capability so there is that. :laughing

Just made me realize that I don’t have a CD player in anything. And our Acuras don’t even do AM radio. My how times have changed.

Long live old cars...!!!! :afm199

Coming up on 90K on the '11 and 34k on the '08.
I do miss having a back up cam on the Vet. I assume the new ones have that.. and maybe AM radio?? :p

Even though I use Sirius mostly my local traffic is reported on AM. Would such if I couldn’t access that. What are manufacturers saving by excluding that option. AM can’t be adding much to the price of a car.

My ignorant meandering paths thought integrating an AM antenna might be more the issue than cost associated to the tuner?

A quick Google brought the reason being EM interference, especially in electric vehicles.

Before I buy that explanation, I'm needing a bit more reading...
