Good SIP/VOIP Apps For Android?

Got a new Google Nexus 7 tablet for my birthday.

Sweet device, touch and feel is 99% just like my Galaxy Nexus mobile phone, minus the cellular radio function.

I'm able to make phone calls using Skype but I know there are other SIP/VOIP applications that might offer more functionality at a lower cost per minute price.

I've searched the Google Play Store for SIP apps and there are a number of choices but I'm looking for any thoughts/advice on which ones to try or avoid.

The native SIP client is in the Phone app, but I'm assuming that the Nexus 7 doesn't come with the Phone app? thread

I'm just pissed that I can't make calls from chrome/gmail from my tablet like I can from my computer
