The inevitable "OMG, there's a new variant" did a number on the stock market today.

One would have thought that was "baked in" but nope.

Had a great "normal" Thanksgiving family meal yesterday with 9 in attendance plus a 2 month old.

All vaccinated/boostered but the munchkin.

Went to the San Diego Zoo Safari park for dinner and such yesterday.

It was pretty busy. Some folks were masking, most (I'd say 60%+) were not. But it was still a gorgeous day to be out.

You are so right! Let's just hope it continues with this new "variant" garbage starting to scare the world. And as GAJ said, it sure hit the market today.

I wasn’t going there. Delta and Zulu are both military phonetic alphabet designations. South Africa being the land of the Zulu I thought it’d be apt. Definitely don’t mean to slur Zulu like Trump slurs China.

They're working through the Greek alphabet. Lambda was floating around in South America, but apparently not stronger than Delta. Apparently we're now up to Omicron.

To that end, however, we are running out of Greek letters.
