anyone have an issue with this and have found a fix that doesnt involve this http://www.goprocamera.com/index.php?area=2&productid=37

???

i tried using a frew coats of fog free spray on mine and its helped but i tried it on my firends and his fogged up so im looking for a fool proof solution.

If you aren't going under water with it, or getting it wet, use the vented back cover. :thumbup

so the real issue is you are closing up the camera in a humid (ish) environment trapping moisture in the housing.

The camera heats up during use and that coupled with the cool/cold exterior of the housing = fog. This is a common problem/issue with all cameras in waterproof housing...

try using FogX on the inside of the housing.

If that doesn't work then just get the AntiFog strips, They WORK!!! and they work for a lifetime (every 4 uses, pop them in the oven at 350º for 3 minutes)

I actually doubt you were using the open back as a vented housing will not/should not fog

If the Gopro will take a standard threaded filter, (I can't tell from the eensy-weensy pics on the home page) you could try putting a standard UV filter on it. Fogging is usually from sudden temperature changes, and adding a filter will slow said changes. If the fogging is from, er... fog. You're pretty much screwed. Try an anti-fogging lens cleaner. :teeth

Those anti-fog strips seem like a deal at $15 and totally make sense...why not just spring for the correct product?

I've used Go-pro's for years. Never had one fog. (fought some annoying sun spot battles, but that's a different story)
Where on your bike are you mounting it?
Just curious.

Not trying to thread jack, but....
My sound is frequently out of sinc. It happens on different cameras (all go-pro). Seeing footage of yourself at a stop light while hearing yourself bang off the rev limiter=buzz kill :thumbdown
Any ideas?

I know, I know...
Stop light + rev limiter = fail.
Meant to say "while carefully pulling away while observing any and all vehicle codes".
My bad.
