Harley-Davidson finally confirms that it is bringing its first electric motorcycle to market

:rofl

That is why they sell more motorcycles than every other brand than Honda right? Honda also sells bikes not in the same classifcations as Honda and it also sells in markets where Harley doesn't even compete with Honda.

Come on, other than what are more than forced purchases in countries where ultra cheap designs are prevalent in poor areas, Harley is a top selling brand.

So unless you ride a Honda, Harley sells more bikes than your brand ever hopes to sell.

I don't ride a Harley nor have I ever owned one.

You're only looking at volume. I'm not. The company themselves has admitted they're sliding heavily...

No argument with that but the industry as a whole is sliding. HDs appeal to a certain type of individual but its like GM, when their car sales head south everyone else isn't doing better.

HD getting into E-bikes is a good thing and they can and do set trends. Lets not forget why the biggest brands are selling V-Twins of a certain style, in reality they followed HD.

HD evokes the loyalty of its customers Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Yamaha can only wish for and they manage to do it at price points most other brands can only pray for.

I look forward to their entry into the e-bike market, the rest will end up following that too. At least they announced, far more than the others have managed so far.

I don't own or ride HD bikes.
