Help...looking for a camping spot

I would greatly appreciate some help....me and my SO are looking for camping and dirt bike riding, somewhere with water hopefully. We don't mind driving. Thanks,

Lake Pillsbury in Mendicino National Forest will fit your bill. Many other lakes to camp if you are more adventurous. Just got back from wheeling in my truck last weekend.

I was just there a few weeks ago and it was spectacular. It's off of Rubicon trail on the west side of Tahoe. There are dirt bike trails (remember those spark suppressors...) that get you there. It's a small hut, so you're not in a tent per se, but you do need to be camping prepared, since the hut is literally just that, a roof with a couple of wood burning stoves. Good times.

Thanks for the help...we ended up at Bear creek, part of the Middle creek area above Clear lake. We rode for hours and didn't see another human...great fun!
