So, I'm in the midst of modifying my damper rods so I can use the Race Tech gold valve emulators on my fizzer. Unfortunately, all I've got at my disposal is a drill and a vice. It took me over an hour and a half to do one of the damper rods last night and now, this morning, I've already broke two bits on my first "pilot" hole and the hole's location is slightly off from where I would really like it.

Bottom Line: Is there anyone out there that could spare 30 minutes of machine shop time and mill/drill out 6, 5/16" holes in my damper rod? I figure it shouldn't take longer than maybe 30 minutes and I'd pay up to $30-$40.

Or, barring that there's no one that can help me directly, could someone suggest a shop, preferably in the Oakland Berkeley area that might be able to help me today?

Mucho Thanks.

I can do it since I have a machine shop at work, does it have to be today? I think everyone is on Spring Break and the shop may be closed.
