Hi guy & gals, I’m BikesRfun (Rob) glad to be aboard this great forum I’ve used many a time for diagnostics with good results, I’m a time searched mechanic worked on mainly cars but also a LOT of bikes so I hope to be an asset to the forum. I’ve owned many bikes since I was a nipper & boy do I wish I hadn’t just abused the hell out of them riding in the fields :( be worth a pretty penny now, Honda clicker 50’s 70,s & 90’s are fetching £1200+ and that’s just for a barn find! I say we all chip in go to Thailand get a container and ship a load over for pure profit! Who’s with me!!?? :party

My ride at the moment is a steely 1998 CBR600f3 but boy is it a sleeper! Over ridden plenty of cbr’s but this thing is nuts! Yet so forgiving, the guy it came off was taking it to the Isle of Man for a blast round the track before the main event got going. It’s had work done no doubt as the other cbr’s I’ve ridden were just gutless in comparison apart from the RR that was pretty close. Anyway hi & byr

Welcome (cue The Who and 'Tommy's Holiday Camp') to BARF.

I like the British Isles. When stopping in a pub in a small village in the middle of nowhere I shared a table with motorcycle riders. In the span of an hour, after pulling up pants cuffs and sleeves to display moto-scars, I had made life long friends.

Can't say when, but I'll be back.

Thanks EastbayDave, Pushrod, yeah we’re a friendly bunch this side of the pond we consider our pals over the pond as brothers so your always welcome, if you get over to the UK ���� you must visit my part of the country North Yorkshire! Yeah we speak a kind of redneck type twang but the language of bikes is universal so all’s good.��
