Damn Toe - Hurry Up already!! :twofinger

ok update part 3, I spent my lunch break working on getting the lights back together.

Step 12: remove the tape from the Halo lights and lightly tug on the halos to make sure there not going anywhere.
then place the lens back onto the headlight, and use a hair dryer to head up the Silicone sealant. Im not sure if the Halos could take the heat in the oven....so i didnt chance it.

Step 13: reinstall the lights into the upper fairing-

Step 14: test the lights with a 9v battery...note that these lights are designed to be run on a 12V system so they will be brighter! :teeth

I would run it like this. I never usually connect the neg to the battery. I connect it to another line.

What i would do is connect the red and black to the + and - of the headlight, and have a switch between... just splice the wires connecting to the headlight.

Those switches are strange, IIRC they need 2 seperate power sources are something weird like that. Its been awhile but they don't work like you'd think

WOn't work, he's trying to hook up a switch that has a built in light in it

USE A FUSE, and on second though, use a switched power source, and relay if you have too.

Ok... No problem...

The tabs on the switch SHOULD be marked...
Tab 1 Should be Power Source.
Tab 2 Should be LOAD (ie: Lights)
Tab 3 Should be ground
