Honda Ridgeline unveiled next month

Even though you already bought a Nissan?

Huh?

I drive a 94 ford ranger with 140k miles on it
I've never owned a new car in my life
I've never owned a new motorcycle in my life
I ride a 95 Ducati monster

My wife bought a new Altima we lemoned it and she replaced it with a new Acura - she plans on running the Acura into the ground. Only reason she replaced her 93 civic with the Altima was the tranny failed.

Only reason I'll replace my truck is it breaks down or we have a kid (no airbags, no rear seat, not my decision)

If you're replacing because cost of maintenance exceeds the cost of replacement, that's not consumption. That's economics. Replacing because you're bored of it, that's just consumerism.

I was at a dealer today for other reasons and they had one on the floor so I checked it out. Very nice, comfortable, more head room than the Tacoma, especially in the back seat. I don't know how Toyota screwed that up but for that alone I'd buy the Ridgeline over it.
I didn't like anything about the older Ridgeline especially that crappy plastic interior but the changes they made here would probably put it at the top of my truck choices if I were in the market for one.

90% of owners of full frame pickups drive around with an empty bed. I guess they dont want to get caught with a "fake" truck

Yesterday took a load of scrap metal to the junkyard. Tarps are required or it's a $20 fine.

Sooo the load is tarped, it's rainy, dirty No easy way to hold the filthy tarp down so it got stuffed in the cab, because hey, it was raining.

Mebbe I'll put one of those under truck boxes on, as there's no happy little spot under the bed.

Dammit-I didn't realize I actually wanted one until I made the hypothetical argument the other day.

When is the darn thing releasing? I have been drooling over it for some time.

Per the other thread, I believe it will be a 2018 0r 2019 model, but there's no guarantee it's gonna look like that. Ford got outed on the new Bronco project because the UAW president was countering Trump's claims that Ford was moving everything To Mexico.
