Hot rods and sport bikes Thursday =EBS East Bay Social

Well I thought of the Idea at last EBS. Why not have people over and have a BBQ for the Hot Summer Nights Hot rod show in Danville.The question is how many people are intrested. and who would be able to eat early The car show is from 4-9pm so to use it for its best we will be eatting about 6pm ( I picked up 4 tri-tips 12 LBS and I caught a big salmon yestarday on the river 15 LBS cleaned) As for the rest of the food and drink ???? sugestions???
My home is open and I live down town Danville 1 block from the car show

Every one is welcome All I ask is that if you want to eat and or contribuit to the food or drink Please post up so we dont make too much food or not enoff! For you city peps it will be t-shirts and shorts out here!

Thanks to all who have said they will bring stuff. (To be listed below) I plan on cutting the menu off tomarow at 12pm so we all know how much to make up. So far I expect about 20-30? peps. Right now we have 20+- I ask that all who want beers or special drinks bring them or if you are ridding in and want me to pick somthing up for you PM or call me 510-376-1034 and I can make a store run As for the EATS!!!!!! Has people tell me I will list the plate they are bringing we can allways double up on da items I dont expect every one to bring food for 30 people .( you can alleways bring good beer!!!!)

I got the meets set up and some of the guys from my BBQ team will be bringing their specials and throwing down Hell what is a house with out 4 BBQ's

That was a nice ride home last thursday!!! Kathy said we passed her like lightning bolts!!!! I swear we were only dooing 65 in Alamo:teeth :teeth :teeth

Dang! Dan, I would really like to make it this thursday, but I am going to the trackday on friday. So I will be leaving thursday evening. Take a bunch of pics, eat some meat, and drink a brew for me!

I have very mixed feelings about all this! Missing what is sure to be an awesome get together. On the other hand, getting to go to my first trackday. I wish I could do both. :cry

Hey Dan, I get off work @ 5:00 but will prolly have to go to Concord to pick up my truck. So I think I'll make 6:00 but may be 6:30. i am down for food, and the car show...let me know if I should bring anything - I'll be caging it most likely.
 
I have to work at 3am that day until 3pm so I'll be a maybe.

I'm in for both.. I'll bring my own veggies to throw on the grill.. who's down for a group ride leaving from walnut creek at 5:30? that way we all have enough time to meet up.

PS: any other vegetarians or people interested in my special marinated portabellas?

DAMMIT, just got freakin word I've got to work OT tomorrow night. Talk about a:kicknuts This sucks, I had my hopes up for some BBQ, Beers, and Hot Rods. Well have a juicy steak, and a cold beer for me. Hope you all have fun.
