hotel hookups are great.

i just need a hotel room ir orlando or daytona for 3-4 nights. 15-19th. 2 beds. nothing special
my father and i are going to the daytona 500, and something happened and our hotel reservations are no longer available/ so im in a pinch to find something asap

Let me help.
Go check out www.priceline.com for the area, and hotel class you want.
Then go to www.biddingfortravel.com
Check out the forums and see what kinds of hotels people are getting for what prices. Then you go back to priceline and enter your high bid. You can score some REALLY good deals this way. Make sure you report back on the forum with what you got and price. That will keep the forum going, and someone else can benefit from your info.
We got a nice 5-star (forget the name) in SF during NYE for $130! I've used it on trips to LA and various other places.
For reference, here is something I found:
3* Universal/SW | Four Pts. by Sheraton | 2/22-2/24 | $65
This means, the user asked for 3 stars, by the Orlando area during those dates. According to his post, he started bidding at $35/night, but finally got an acceptance at $65/night.

One of my friends hooked up with some guy who was on travel in a hotel where we were having a xmas party. She was the kind of girl that wore some pretty revealing clothes and what I call hooker boots. I told her to call me when she was done (cause we commuted together to the party) - I left the party a little early. 4am, still no word. She paged me the next day and told me the funniest thing I ever heard...
After they hooked up the guy said he'd pay for a cab to get her home. She got down to the lobby front desk and he comes running down saying she forgot the money, one of the Directors and a few other employees of our company was just looking at her like
