i just got vortex front stand. lifts under steering stem. i dont get how it will keep the bike up. the part of the stand that lifts the bike up can swing front or back...there is nothing to brace it from moving.

Once it's up the wieght of the bike will keep it in place.

I feel your pain, recently went through the same mental dilemma. If you look only at the stand it is confusing. Once you get that pin in, it will all become very logical, dont worry!:)

The front stand doesn't keep the bike up. That's the job of the swingarm stand. The front stand simply lifts the front wheel off of the ground.

there should be a warning label on your vortex stand that says not to use the front without first placing the rear stand on.

Just like in Alan's pic, you can't use the front stand alone, you need to use the rear too;)

I don't even know why they sell the front stand by it's self :wtf

In case you already have a rear stand. I had Pitbull rear stand for the past ten years and just got around to buying a matching front stand last year.

Got tired of using the old rolling floor jack under the headers routine to lift the front of the bike...

i almost got banned for posting NOT naked women

wtf

:wow AR7, do you keep your "omg ewww!" crash pics in the same folder too?

That's gotta make for some very disturbing jackoff sessions...
