I'm doing the Yamaha appreciation at Laguna and don't want to get flagged for my full Leo exhaust. Is there anywhere I can go to get it tested? Also, does anyone have a 2nd gen header or slipon I can rent/buy? Thanks in advance!

You should be fine - if necessary, short shift after turn 5 & stay to the left - away from the sound booth. Infineon is 103 & I've only blown that with a small GP can on my GSXR 1000. My full Leo or Sato systems with a full size muffler are fine at Infineon.

I don't think so. I've been busted at Laguna for airbox noise from a stock bike. They are moving the sound booth around also. Sears Point is different. I've only seen one bike busted there. Laguna bikes get busted constantly.

Basically if you bring a full system to a track with a 93db limit, just don't be upset and pissy when you have to go home after two sessions.

or, just make sure your with a pack of bikes going around the track so they have a difficult time pin pointing the culprit db violator :twofinger

I suggest you contact FemmeLaMoto about the header or slipon. ;)

Limit is 105db not 93...

You sure about that? Typically Laguna days are 93. 105 is LOUD and a full system won't be a problem. However 105db days cost a small fortune to rent the track, much more than 93db days. Not calling you a liar, just something to be sure about. Very unusual to have 105 day at Laguna.

I think it's for the yamaha owner appreciation day.

Sound limit for this event is 105 db! (measured at 50 feet) That means MOST (but not ALL) aftermarket exhaust systems will be O.K. You MUST have a muffler on your bike. NO OPEN PIPES WILL BE ALLOWED ON TRACK. It is up to YOU to determine if your bike will pass sound. Please don't call or email us asking if your bike will be O.K. for sound. (Hint: Sonoma Raceway limit is 103 db).

That 93db is one reason why i(said I'd probably never ride Laguna. This deal was to good to pass up though. So you guys think I'd be fine?

105 is loud as others have stated. You should be fine if you are ok at sears. Though laguna likely has a better grasp on locating violators I doubt your bike is going to be over 105.

I unfortunately haven't made it out to sears point just yet. I've only bein too T-hill and fernley. I know fernley has no rules on how loud your bike is, don't know if T-hill does or.not but I didn't.get flagged at all.
