when you buy the sliders it will tell you how to install them. depending on the bike and type of slider, you may have to drill a hole in each side of the upper. if not, just bolt the suckers on there.

The instructions that come with the sliders tell you to use a 1" hold saw. I used a 2 3/8" hole saw and used furniture grommet to give a cleaner look. Also to give more room for error just in case it wasn't drill centered. Use Playdoe to mark the bolts. Put the Playdoe on the inside of the fairings. Install the longer bolts that come with your sliders. Mount your fairing back on the bike and press against the bolt until it makes an impression in the Playdoe. Remove the fairing and you should see the bolt head impression in the Playdoe. Use a small drill bit to drill a pilot hole down the center of the bolt head impression. After the pilot hole is drilled, use the hole saw to finish the job. Here's a few pictures you can check out when I did mine. PM me if you have any more questions. Good luck!

thank you all! sounds great.. let me do that when i get back from church. i shall get back to u guys..

I used a hole saw a little smaller than the slider and used a dremel to enlarge the hole to the right size and location
