Husky vs US General tool chest?

Bought a 5 drawer mechanic cart US General over a year ago for $179. Its a solid cart for the price. Wait for the sales and buy into the Track club membership. I normally dont buy into any membership but at that time it made sense with the savings i got.

I have two of the US General 5 drawer carts. One is at my house, and one at work. My main box is a Mac Tech 1000 and it has served me well for 20 years now. The 1st US General cart has been in service at my home shop for 5 years and sees a lot more use than the Mac now. It stores the most common stuff, and I roll it to the job. It’s been so solid and useful I bought a second to take to my job at the shop in Marin. The layout is great. The side table is useful, and the drawers slide amazingly well. Great value.

I wish this thread had been posted last week so I could have used a 10% coupon that did t exclude these :laughing

That exact one. I have a red one and a neon green one.

this is the one I regret buying :)

the drawer locks are driving me crazy! my other USG tool boxes just have those nice slides that stay closed without the locks....those are great, but having those locks on opposite sides of this cart is such a pain

Well I got the 52" Husky Industrial. 15% worked plus 1% from discover and sold my old one for $150. Made the new one a pretty good deal.
