there's nothing wrong with reminiscing about glory days. usually though it's done in the company of friends. but that doesn't seem to be what's going on here. so reading the commentary in the videos, the "owns 9" license plate, etc., you can't help but come away with the impression that the guy - like a lot of guys who ride - satisfies some need by waxing other riders, and letting as many people know about it as he can. basically, he needs a lot of ego stroking. but look where that got him.
tearing it up on a bike is a game he just can't play anymore. but he obviously still has this ego need, which of course is not likely to be met on this forum. hence, he'd be healthier and happier if he worked through it with a therapist. (which, incidentally, is the case for just about everybody, for various reasons.)
