I Think I Just Found My Next Bike

I gotta wonder how adding a turbo to a two smoker interferes with the exhaust pipe expansion chamber tuning, because, science.

I was wondering stuff along the same lines, 2 strokes are supercharged already by the exhaust scavenging, seems like you'd sacrifice some efficiency. Also wondering about the seals on that motor, with the extra pressure and heat.

Not so sure about motorcycles but turbos have been a consistent part of 2T diesels for a very long time :dunno

Honda 2T turbo intentionally large

Yep (and cool pic btw). They're used in 2T motors too, the really huge ones used in ships and stuff. But I'm guessing more engineering goes into those than into this one, though maybe the seller is a wizard. I think they mostly supercharge them with a pre-stage induction pump, they don't use the piston as an induction pump like most 2T bikes. And I'm guessing they use a better exhaust porting system.

That bike is worth 5 hobo dollars and not a penny more.
His only hope of sell that is to someone drunk.

honda made one

years ago.... this is what that bike reminds me of.
With paddles like that you'll be the bully of the beach:ride

that is so garish, I'd say you could buy it if you consult with Valgar about color schemes. and accessorizes.

Those old three wheeler conversions, they're kinda cool and would make a perfect accessory to a beer dispensing helmet. I'd definitely rock that thing around the 'hood.

Theres a reason hes selling it - none of which are in the buyers favor

With that thing you could jump a dune at Pismo Beach and land in the Sahara.

:laughing
Great commentary thus far. Yes, the bike is overpriced. Yes the plastics (and wheel/tire) choices are terrible. Yes, his story about a "work injury" is almost surely bullshit. Still, I bet it would be a blast to ride. :rofl
