If you had a male friend whose female GF looks like a MAN, would you tell him?

Yes/No ?

How to tactfully say it?

No.

Not possible. It's like pointing out that a friend's girl is remarkably stupid, fat or obnoxious. It wont go over well if they can't tell already.

Sometimes, some men, need companionship that they don't have to pay for.

There is a difference between always being honest and always giving your honest opinion about something. The former is infinitely more agreeable in a companion.

Be honest, and tell him: "Dude, I wish I had known you liked men. I've always had a thing about you."

I would never comment on a friend's woman's looks. Personality, on the other hand, I do and have made some very direct comments.

I did have the problem where my friend had a Male GF that looked like a man. That was all drama.

Shut the fuck up, and mind your own business.

I don't say shit to my friends about how their partner looks. It's not my fucking business what the dude is doing to make his way through life. No AFTER they break up and she is out of the picture, THEN you can talk some shit, but I don't get on a buddy's case that way. It's disrespectful.

Lame thread; lamer concept. But of course, you knew that when you started it.

That might be a bad idea too, JIC they get back together. :laughing

I thought about this some more, and you guys are right. I am not in the position to comment on a friend's GF's looks.

For whatever reasons, I just thought I may give him some 'honestly' but like someone else mentioned, I can say something about personality, but never on looks.

Strange, why I even felt to think this way, but I know it's the best I just shut my mouth and as long as he's happy, then everything is good.

of course Heather! I use the KS to answer all my--how can I say it--not so politically correct questions i'd be too afraid to ask in real life!:)

A good rule of thumb is that if it sounds sorta too dicky to say to another person, then it probably doesn't need to be typed out here either. But of course, you know that.

I'm trying to convince the other moderators to add a clause to the TOS that states that we're allowed to suspend people for acting Stan-ish.

haha we're gonna have a stan amendment in our TOS :laughing

stan is going to become a verb like bap :laughing

:laughing I'd like to think at least 10% of what I contribute is good quality information.:p
